My dear cousin Nicole tagged me with a "book tag" and seeing as I am ready for a new post on my blog but haven't known what to write about, I am going to do it...Steph has tagged me before too and I haven't ever done them, maybe I'll follow through with those ones in a day or so...no promises though, we'll just have to see.
The book tag rules are easier than it seems most tags are, I am supposed to grab the nearest book, turn to page 123 and post the fifth sentence. Piece of cake right? I don't even need to think of anything profound or deep to say!! tee hee! ok, this might be interesting since I'm at work and I'm not sure that anybody reading my little blog wants to learn something from a Toyota or Honda Warranty Manual...maybe I'll find something else around here...hmmm...there's a phone book...I'll keep looking. Oh! The Lost and Found was a success! I found a book called Lincoln A Life of Purpose and Power by Richard Carwardine. Here is what it says:
To applause he said, "The good old maxims of the Bible are applicable, and truly applicable to human affairs, and in this as in other things, we may say here that he who is not for us is against us; he who gathereth not with us scattereth."
There now, doesn't everyone feel like they learned and grew from that little excerpt?? Well I thought it was fun and I think that this silly little tag should be continued on by Steph, and Jen, and Kjerstin. Come on guys its an easy one! ok, actually I can't blame you if you don't do it, like I said before this is the first one I've actually completed, but if you feel like it...well, then go for it! ta ta for today blogging world :)
